Ms. Monica began working with my daughter at the age of 3. We were out at a restaurant and my daughter had a total melt down that was unwarranted and a result of a simple miscommunication. It was in that moment I put together she must have an issue with language because her spoken word vocabulary was very small and we had trouble with her understanding simple sentences. Once we contacted Ms. Monica she fit us in right away and began seeing our daughter twice a week to work on expressive and receptive language. The words began to flow within no time. Once the words began to flow we noticed she had a stutter, Ms. Monica supported her through that as well. Ms. Monica was able to not only teach our daughter strategies but also taught our family strategies to help on a day to day basis. Even my 7 year old was able to lead the language games from Ms. Monica to support her sisters learning. My daughter enjoyed each and every session. My daughter did not even realize she was working and learning. It felt like play. Ms. Monica is truly the best!

Mrs. Kornblum has been working with my son for almost two years. He immediately took to her kind and caring nature. She always greets him with a smile and he looks forward to his time with her each week! In the beginning, my son’s speech issues caused him to only speak in vowel sounds, leaving off almost all initial and final consonants. She worked very hard to progress him to where he can now finally say his name, along with many other words, which makes him so proud! Mrs. Kornblum is extremely knowledgeable at what she does and uses such creative activities to keep her students engaged throughout the entire lesson. My son walks out of his speech session each time with a huge smile and something neat for us to follow up with at home to continue his learning. Our family is so lucky to have found Mrs. Kornblum and we will forever appreciate how much she has helped our sweet boy, with speech and also his confidence!

Mrs. Kornblum has made such a difference in my daughter's confidence by helping her improve her speech. When my daughter first started over a year ago she was so shy due to people not being able to understand her clearly.
